Acer Aspire One AO722-BZ454 11.6-Inch HD Netbook (Espresso Black)
For a year i have been looking for a good portable device to use while on the go and for portability. Something that can pack a punch but has a long battery life. For a few months i sat around looking for best price, battery and performance combinations. Acer was the only brand that sold higher performance netbooks for lower prices. Eventually i decided to go with the C-50 model APU because i am a fan of AMD.
Pros:
*Amazing battery life like advertised. I can easily get 5+ hours of basic internet usage.
*Great CPU power that defiantly beats any Intel Atom CPU. Can play many games such as TF2, Minecraft, and much much more on lowest settings with little to no lag.
*Amazing Graphical power! I managed to display my computer onto my 64 inch TV and play HD youtube videos with no lag
*Surprisingly fast WLAN speed. 1.2 MBPS Constant speed.
*Smooth keyboard like many of Acer's other Netbooks and notebooks.
*Very sleep look with the power button and the angling of the screen hinges, it also has a very unique "water droplet" imprint as most people have mentioned.
Cons:
*Allot of bloatware to remove when you first boot it up. Took me like an hour to get it all set up to use.
*Warmer then other netbooks but it definatly has better sometimes stats so i can't complain
Notes (things that don't affect value but could be better):
*Easy to smudge (but then again all portable devices are}
*Flexing keyboard as others mentioned, it doesn't flex enough to worry me so i'm okay with it.
*Battery looks like it doesn't go in right because it's at an angle. Not noticable on any of the pictures online. Adds an 1/8 of an inch to the width. Not a big deal just strange.

3.0 out of 5 stars It can't play Netflix in HD mode!!, August 12, 2011
This review is from: Acer Aspire One AO722-BZ454 11.6-Inch HD Netbook (Espresso Black) (Personal Computers)
After reading all the reviews, I decided to buy this netbook, use it as media center connect my master bedroom tv, it's fine when you stream 480p or play any 480p files on ext-hard drive, but..if you using Netflix stream HD mode, lag lag lag!!
I'm using Charter cable internet, download speed tested 10-16mb per second, upload tested speed is 1-1.5mb per second, I have no problem with all other 3 laptops playing 1080p either stream or play files, even the oldest Sony laptop(2006) with the 1st gen intel dual-core t-2050 1.6ghz CPU and intel on-board video 4500 chipset is working perfect! I don't how other review show this netbook able to play 1080p, I did clean all the useless software, finish the update for window and update the latest video drive from AMD, it just not work for me.
